Blaze & Ginger Snap are
spending their winter on the Island.
They get daily treat visits from their many friends. Blaze pulls a sleigh on occasion and Ginger is getting some ground driving work (too small for me to ride!, rats!) They have a box stall run in to get out of harsh weather and a heated water tank. They mainly stay outside during the day and go in the run in at night. I put them in the stable when it is wet to give them a chance to dry out. They are doing great. 
Here I am hauling water to stable for Blaze & Ginger. 6 – 5 gallon buckets, I do this once or twice a week to keep heated water tank filled.

Happy New Year! We just spent eight relaxing days on the island cross country skiing. It’s gorgeous this time of year. We wish you all a wonderful winter and look forward to seeing you this spring after the snow melts and the horses return to the island.
